Hit the Bayou Sauvage Wildlife Refuge yesterday, just fifteen minutes from the French Quarter.  Really beautiful.  The wind was apparently very mild out at sea so the oil hasn’t hit the shore.  So there was an eerie quiet hovering over the sanctuary.  Today I’m hoping to get to an animal rescue operation in Gulfport, Mississippi.
