Power Struggle in Albany: Who Are Brooklyn’s State Senators?

The world watches as the State Senate in Albany is in chaos after two Democratic senators crossed the aisle in a Republican power grab. Seems like a good time for a refresher course on the State Senate and the names of those who represent Kings County.

everything you need to know by entering your address into the New York
City Board of Elections' website right here.

  1. Thanks Louise. I’ve written Ms. Montgomery this morning, putting her on notice that for the first time in my life, I intend to pay attention to NYS politics. Corrupt fools operate with impunity when no one is watching–and hardly anyone is. It’s outrageous that the fate of the legislative agenda is in the hands of creeps like Monserrate and Espada. These people have enormous influence over the quality of life in our city and state. Neither should ever have been elected, let alone land at the crux of power.
