Police Action in Windsor Terrace

Someone just wrote in about a police situation in Windsor Terrace on Saturday night.

Tonight, the deli on the corner of 10th ave and 16th street was roped
off with police tape. (I drove past at about 9:00) There appeared to be
2 unmarked police cars outside and the store was closed, except for the
front door. The light were on.

Any news would be helpful. I pray it's not a repeat of last years murder one block north.

  1. Two men robbed the store owner and his wife at gunpoint. They weren’t hurt, but are very upset and had a bunch of money stolen. I heard that the same two men, driving a black Yukon, also robbed a few other convenience stores in Brooklyn the same night. Apparently one of the other store owners hit one of the robbers with a bat and he dropped his gun, so maybe they can trace it. I hope they find these guys. Jeff, the owner of the 10th Ave. deli is great and I hope this hasn’t scared him away.

  2. Not sure what happened but I tried going to Blondies deli off (about 6 blocks away from 10th and 16th) Of Prospect Ave, on Greenwood ave right next to the subway stop and same thing, roped off with lots of police and detectives. Anyone know what happened?
