I just got word from a parent of a student at PS 10, here in Brooklyn that PS 10 is organizing a special concert to raise money for the school. This parent writes:

May 1st at 7pm, parents and teachers are donating their time and talent
to put on a benefit concert, aimed at grown-ups but opened to
all. Money raised will be used to help alleviate financial deficits we
are sure to be facing.
