  1. im going to the brooklyn latin school in 2009…. i would like a way for me to be able to communicate with the students there n0w….. l0lz…plzz…im going to take the test in June

  2. I am a student at this school , it is a center for nerds and education
but once you walk out the door you are picked on by local bullies, the school is hard but a horrible choice for anykid who doesn’t know his ABCs (like me)

  3. I actually work at The Brooklyn Latin School (TBLS). I recently graduated from Princeton University, and I chose to do a one year fellowship at TBLS. It really is an amazing place. The teachers are completely devoted to the students, who follow a rigorous curriculum grounded in the classics. For example, every student must take Latin (in addition to a modern foreign language). As an avowed Latinist who loves everything Roman (I majored in Classics), I cannot praise enough The Brooklyn Latin School’s mission to revive a classical education.
Ok, enough singing TBLS’s praises; I also have some information for anyone interested in learning more about the school:
    1) The Brooklyn Latin School Informative Fridays: Every Friday from Sept. 28 to Oct. 26 we will be having an information session and tour open to anyone wanting to learn more about TBLS. You will hear from students and teachers as well as visit classrooms. Each session runs from 9AM-10:30AM, but space is limited, so please contact me to reserve a spot. I can be reached at egriggs@replications.org or at 718-366-0154 (email is usually the fastest way).
    2) Evening Open House: Wednesday Oct. 24th at 6:30PM we are having a traditional open house. Registration is not required to attend this session.

  4. Based on Boston Latin, a highly successful school in Massachusetes, as far as I know – it is a Replications School – they have a website so you can find out more.
