TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT. The Brooklyn Free School is having an open house. Separate fact from fiction. Find out the real story of this visionary school in our midst. It might not be for every kid, but maybe it’s for YOURS.
Here’s a note from a parent of a high schooler at the school. Check out their web site. It might inspire you to check out the school YOU MUST SEE THEIR FANTASTIC WEBSITE.
FROM A FREE SCHOOL PARENT: I’d really appreciate it if you’d post this on your
Blog–especially because it ties in with your running dialog and Smart
Mon column about homework. No homework is just one part of the Brooklyn
Free School’s philosophy of self-directed learning.

Free Online High School GED Diploma
Speaking of free, I stumbled across this school online that offers a free sign up course to get a GED in a short time frame. It seems that if I pass their program, I can then be eligable to receive a GED Online diploma which I gather I could use to get a better job at this time. Since my funds are tight and I can’t finish high school, this may be the best alternative for me at this very moment.
Do you know anything about this?
Thanks,
Danny
