i think it’s funny that you mention the carvel because that is the first place i ever nip’d (nip=nurse in public)…
i just finished posting your interview and this story to my lj breastfeeding community (i had asked you about this through psp)… i’m sure i’ll get lots of great feedback!
Have you considered emailing your blog to the View to get their reaction? It would be interesting to hear what Meredith has to say about all this – I’m sure she has said a lot ( I’m a faithful watcher when I’m not working- love the show). They’re probably over it all by now. No one said that Baba WaWa was particularly politically correct –
A friend with a new baby once asked if any of us would be offended if she breastfed at the lunch table. I said no, but thanks for asking. She was fine with that response, but her husband looked like he wanted to choke me and he wouldn’t let me hold the baby.
