THIS WEEKEND: ROCK THE HOUSE WITH PHONE PARTIES

Mainphoto_c4cbaby
There are dozens of Rock the House (and Senate) Phone Parties in Brooklyn this weekend. Go to moveon.org and find a party near YOU. All you need is a cell phone to convince someone to vote. VOTER TURNOUT IS CRITICAL THIS YEAR. CRITICAL!

From Moveon.org: Dozens of congressional races are tied. We’ve identified over a million progressives in these districts who don’t always vote. If we call them and make sure they get to the polls, we’ll win.

Your host will provide everything you need. Grab your cell phone and join your neighbors on the weekend of Nov. 4-5, and again on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 7) and help us “Rock the House (and Senate)” at a party near you.

  1. Kevin,
It would be preferable if they did not. George Bush has done enough damage to the country and the world. Its time for a change.

  2. Hi Can anyone tell me when Helene Weinstein, assembly member 41st district, is up for re-election? Those of us across the state who are adoptees or birthoarents, and there are MANY of us, would like to launch an all out campaign to get Ms. Weinstein defeated. She is bent on defeating the Adoptees Bill of Rights, allowing us to get our original birth certificates, and so we are bent on getting her defeated!!!! Any help is appreciated.

  3. I recommend that you call on behalf of your local Democratic Party and not MoveOn.org.
MoveOn.org is bad news. There is a huge scandal about its Action Forum serving as a platform for racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic, and anti-Evangelical hate speech. When I say “anti-Semitic,” I do not mean criticism of Israel or Zionism but statements about Jews, including a blood libel. When I say “anti-Catholic,” I do not mean pro-choice but, for example, calling the Pope a Nazi.
No self-respecting Democrat would associate with MoveOn.org if they knew what it was really doing. If you call and say you are with MoveOn.org or calling on its behalf, people may slam the phone down in disgust.
