PARK SLOPE CHRISTIAN HELP

A lot of people in and around Park Slope volunteer, give money, or clothing to CHIPs on Fourth Avenue. While they may or may not need help on Thanksgiving or Christmas, they need volunteers all year round for their soup kitchen, the Frances; Residence for Homeless Mothers and their Children. Volunteers perform the various tasks needed to keep the soup kitchen and residence running smoothly: cooking, cleaning, pickups, painting, laundry, fundraisiing and supervising the residence 24 hours a day.
