BROOKLYN PITA: NICE NAME

A new falafel place is set to open on Seventh Avenue near 8th Street and I was surprised that the name: Brooklyn Pita, had never been used before. It’s a good name. Maybe the falafel, the shwarma, the hummus and babaganous are good, too.

Report back to me if you get there before I do.

  1. I stumbled upon this place as well. I paid around $5 and was completely full. The food was delicious- falafel was fresh and flavorful- not dry. The salads were a perfect compliment to my pita- I had a plateful as the falafel pita was being prepared, then stuffed some salads into the pita afterwards. They also have some tasty sauces- both hot and tahini- unlimited. Yum- highly recommended!

  2. Great Food, Great Service. I really enjoyed the food in Brooklyn Pita. Welcome to our neighborhood. I recommend everyone to try it, you will like.

  5. Hey, i was walking by 7th ave the other day with my fiance. we walked by this place called Brooklyn Pita, my fiance and I decided to go in and give it a try. she ordered the chicken gyro and i ordered the grilled chicken with fries. To be perfectly honest with you the food was delicious, they have a open bar for about 10 different salads, unlimited, the staff there are very friendly, they try to fulfill every need. Bottom line is that this place is nice, i like the middle eastern type of food, good quality, cheap and its open till 11pm.
