I don’t think it got rained on. The rain didn’t start until about 11 pm.

You would appreciate the high-falutin Met. Let’s go sometime. The Family Circle is good. My grandparents had a subscription for years and years — in the orchestra. I love the Met. Louise
One of my favorite operas and the performance was very entertaining. As one who probably wouldn’t appreciate the high-falutin’ Met, this was exactly my thing. Some very good voices, some not so, Don Alfonso in particular was perfectly clear (it’s in English but that’s hard to tell with some singers,) and Dorabella delightful to watch (but I believe there’s two casts.) I took the 9-yr old D but he faded after the first act.
Which opera?
Brooklyn Repertory Opera performed Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte at the Brooklyn Lyceum (no threat of rain or grass stains).
Did anyone see it? How did you like it?
Last performance of this fantastic show is Sunday, June 24 at 3pm with full orchestra. Check here for details and to buy tix: http://www.bropera.org
