Obviously it’s going to take some time for Coop workers and shoppers to adjust to the new debit machines.

As of 4:15 on 10/4: main line around the corner and back into the frozen food isle; the express line filled the last isle. Things were slow but not unpleasantly so and I did use my debit card, and the transaction was quick and uneventful.
I meant grouchiness…but grouchines could be an interesting new coop feature….

Wow, so far so good, only that the first two express checkouts were’nt hooked up to the debit system yet as of yesterday oct 3rd…otherwise..longish lines, but moving very quickly and no visible grouchines…
