The dad of a child at MS 51, a Park Slope middle school wrote in about yesterday’s armed bank robbery…

The incident was on 6/19/08. The school was locked down from 12:30-1:30 so the kids did not change classes for the 6th period. We were advised no one entered the school but police were running down Fifth Avenue and the park next to the school with drawn guns.
