So, thats my car.
It’s now towed away, and totally junked. We discovered that the tree is completely rotted on the inside (at least of the piece that broke off), making it not entirely the fault of the wind. Our insurance didn’t cover the loss, so we are left to file a claim with the city. If anyone knows any information about the tree, it would be great to hear. We’ve heard some rumors that this tree was requested to be taken down a few years ago, and was completely skipped when the city pruned the trees a few months back.
