Back in the 60s, Danny Kalb was a member of the seminal electric blues group, The Blues Project.  Today, Danny, a Brooklyn resident for years (I often see him walking on 7th Avenue in The Slope) remains a blues guitar master.  I remember seeing him live for the first time, maybe a dozen years ago and being transfixed and amazed by his playing.
