As reported in the Science section of Tuesday’s New York Times, a filmmaker from Park Slope by the name of Luke Geissbuhler attached a video camera to a weather balloon and launched it in August from Newburgh, N.Y. for what would be a 90-minute journey. The seven-minute video went viral and the rest is history for the Park Slope resident.
