As for tonight,  there are three excellent bands playing at both stages of  The Rockwood Music Hall.  The problem is that two of the shows are on opposite each other so you can only get to see two out of the three.  Playing opposite each other are James Maddock and his band and Poundcake, a rockabilly/early rock ‘n’ roll covers band with Teddy Thompson.  Playing late is Sister Sparrow and The Dirty Birds.  Details here at Now I’ve Heard Everything.
