According to the Brooklyn Paper, the NBA’s Board of Governors will let Bruce Ratner sell the Nets to Mikhail Prokhorov. The Russian mogul will be the first non-North American owner of a team.

Last year, Prokhorov made a deal with Ratner to buy 80-percent of the team, plus 45 percent of the lucrative Barclays Center arena, which is under construction at the corner of Atlantic and Flatbush avenues.
