The group playing at the Lower East Side’s Lakeside Lounge on February 23rd was billed as The Elvis Club.  That was a pseudonym for one of my favorite bands of the 80s, The Del-Lords.  The reformed Del-Lords, containing all of the original members, played Burnin’ in the Flames of Love, a song from way back then.  You can see a video of that performance today at Now I’ve Heard Everything.
