Remember that bright yellow and orange Korean market that went in on Seventh Avenue between Union and President right near Aersoles?
It was called Park Slope Farm and it closed rather quickly. The space at 106 7th Avenue stayed vacant for quite a few months.
That was then this is now. According to Brownstoner, a bagel cafe is going in.
I love my neighborhood, but 7th Ave. is what you get when local residents are too busy at their investment banking jobs and Yoga classes to care about developing their neighborhood in an interesting way. Obviously Williamsburg and Ft. Greene have more interesting commercial strips than Park Slope, but it will only sink in for real when Crown Heights is a destination over Park Slope.
