Hey, I love Sarah! In her hilarious video urging young Jews for Obama to work on their grandparents, though, she says that Baruch means “lightning.” It doesn’t. While the “talking points” PDF on the “schlep” website is well thought out and valuable, I find this video to be extremely condescending to Jewish seniors. Also, I would think Silverman isn’t a celebrity who, post the “I’m ****ing Matt Damon!” video, is going to be so appealing to those of that generation who have to be convinced that “he’s the same as you on the inside”.
