One thought on “Battle Week in Brooklyn”

  1. I am pretty upset that I missed the Maryland 400 Ceremony. I had meant to watch out for doings at the Old Stone House this month and missed it. I would have enjoyed the Evergreen Cemetery / Jamaica Pass walking tour as well. Luckily, I was at Green-Wood Cemetery on 8/17/08 and found a Battle Week pamphlet. So I will at least manage to make the Neighborhood Walk and the Commemorations at Green-Wood this week. I urge everyone to take part in any way they can. This battle was an event of incredible importance to our nation, and too few people know about it. It gladens me to see sites like this raise awareness. Thank You!
