At Naropa University in Boulder Colorado, there was a 12 hour reading of On the Road, Jack Kerouac’s beat masterpiece that is 50 years old.

Fans and some close friends of the late author took turns reading his
most famous novel aloud on Saturday. 

It was the kick-off to the university’s first Kerouac Festival.
