Jimmy Carter — former president and Nobel Laureate, author and global
humanitarian — speaks of his born-again faith with a directness that is
striking even in today’s political culture. He reflects on being
commander in chief while following, as he says, "the Prince of Peace";
on upholding the law while privately opposing abortion; and on his
marriage of 60 years as a metaphor for the challenge of human
relationship both personal and global on Speaking of Faith on WNYC today. Check their website for time. Podcast available.

This shameful ex-president has broken all accepted protocol of presidents since the beginnings of this country by attacking the sitting president a multitude of times during this Iraq conflict, he has recently revealed himself as an anti semite in the third degree, as well as a supporter of terrorism and Hamas.
Now Mr Peanut is attacking Tony Blair on his exit tour as Britain’s Prime Minister for their staunch support of the United States during the Iraq war. As you can imagine the Muslim press is having a field day with this stuff.
Worst. President. Ever.
Jew-hating scum.
A perfect hero for the Park Slope moonbats.
Haven’t we already heard enough from Mr Carter? What can he possibly add. I’d rather heard from someone with less bias and who is more insightful, such as Salman Rushdie.
