This is my first visit to your blog. I “googled” my old pal Risa Mickenberg and found her piece on Jamie Livingston and read it and then yours and have re-read it a few times since, each time my heart grows a little heavier. I lived in NYC for over thirty years- most of my life – only recently moving to Europe. I vaguely recall hearing of Jamie from Risa, a story about the POD if memory serves me right. You wrote a beautiful tribute. He must have been a wonderful human being. He was fortunate to have you as a friend.
