A mailman was robbed while on duty this afternoon in Brooklyn.
It happened just before 3 p.m. in Sheepshead Bay. Postal officials
say someone snuck up on the carrier while he was delivering mail on
foot and grabbed two bundles and ran off. The mailman was not injured.Postal inspectors are investigating, but so far they have not released any details about the suspect.
