Today marks the 100th anniversary of the San Francisco earthquake. A major gathering at Lotta’s fountain commemorates the occasion. How many survivors are left? If they were newborns, they are now 100 year’s old.

There is an article in the New York Times today about a group of survivors. Most of them were newborns and one was conceived in the days after the quake. There are about a dozen with only one being a man.
