It’s been quite a week. The whole thing took me by surprise. When I wrote "Breastfeeding Brouhaha" I figured it would be a quick little story. Little did I know that thousands of readers from around the country would log on.
Here I wish to thank the person who really made this happen. Deborah Ager, my Life Coach, sent me an e-mail last Thursday that turned my world around. In it she said:
After reading your post about breastfeeding and Barbara Walters, I saw this post on my local DC moms
I have two goals right now, I’ve had them for many many years, but I really think this is THE YEAR.
I’ve been writing poetry and short stories and other things on and off all my life. My goal is to really write and try to publish something. I plan to enter a local newspaper contest for a short story, due date: November 24 2005.
My other goal is to visit and bring help and/or presents to people in need, children; I’ll call a local orphanage and ask about it, today or tomorrow.
I’ve been wondering if there is anything left for me in this life, retired, my two children gone, I’m 61, I feel younf still but without direction and motivation, I need to plan for maybe the next 20 years. Please help.
