Watching Mad Men in Park Slope, Times Square, Block Island

July 25, 2010

Season 4 of Mad Men premieres tonight and I think I’m going to miss it unless I can find a bar that’s showing it on Block Island.

If you’re in Park Slope (and you don’t have cable) you can watch the latest adventures of Don Draper, Roger Sterling, Pete Campbell, Peggy Olson and all the rest at Bar 4 (444 Seventh Avenue in Park Slope), where they’re having a Mad Men viewing party. There are other ways to get your fix on Mad Men tonight…

You can watch the first episode of Season 4 in  Duffy Square (between 45th and 47th Streets and Broadway and Seventh Avenue) at 9 p.m. (one hour earlier than watching it on TV). Prior to the screening there will be  The screening will be “Mad Men” costume contests and  Elisabeth Moss, who plays Peggy, the copywriter from Brooklyn.

  6. Hi There,

So — Bar 4 was definitely NOT showing Mad Men. So, your ‘tip’ pretty much ensured I didn’t get to watch the premier as it was too late to make other arrangements by the time I found out.

Think you can actually find a bar in Park Slope that’s showing it for next week?

    Thanks.

  10. Last week Sheep Station (4th Ave & Douglass) agreed to show it. It went so well that the owner has agreed to reserve the back room and play it on a projector each week! Plus, they have good Don and Roger-esque drinks!

  12. Dear cute brown haired girl at Sheep Station,
You were there with a couple, me with my neighbor. Will you be there next week? I hope so.

I’d never treat you like Don treated his secretary tonight.

    Yours,
    Man with glasses.

  14. Love Sheep Station and excited to know that they are playing Mad Men on a big screen. Can you confirm that Sheep Station is going to keep this up for the season?

  16. Confirmed! Come in costume if you’re feeling inspired.

Also, the plan is to have the audio fixed by next week and the back room should open up. Hope bartender keeps up the character cocktails.
